Someone has probably been in a drunken fight or something like that. This could have led to death. Rumors could be spread about the fight that leads to the family feuding.
They're probably was a reason in the distant past,and the anger just got passed down generation to generation,so they may not really know why they're fighting.
They have been feuding because they hated each others families.One or the other has accused the other person because maybe in the past they did horrible things to the other person.
It could be that one of the family members stole something from the other family or somebody could have killed one of the others family member. It has probably been going on for so long no one knows what it was about in the beginning
I might of been like something that happened with ancestors or when they were kids and they were brought up to not like each other so as they got older it just became natural.
I think that maybe the two families were once good friends, but one of them either got some type of advantage, like maybe they got some piece of desirable land, or they got something of value that the other person had wanted, so the other one got mad and started a feud.
I think it is just for the sake of pride. Because both families are fairly wealthy, though neither can claim the title as wealthiest family because they both are of nobles blood.
They are probably fighting about something from the past that was very bad like steal gold from each other or kill one another's servents but what ever it was had to be bad for them to be enemies for so long.
It might have been something that happens when they were little or something that has happened with their ancestors or someone in each families may have killed a servant. Either way they hate eachother and don't like eachother but if they are not bothering anyone they are okay.
I think that the two families are jealous of one another because one may have something the other don't or Romeo&Julietgrandparents may have Been In feud with each other. And past it down from Generation to generation.
