  1. To me Romeo is in love with Rosaline. He will not stop talking about how much he loves her.

    1. I disagree. If you're truly in love with someone, you don't get over it in one night.

  2. Romeo is in love with Rosaline. The difference is that if he wasn't in love with her he wouldn't be talking about her all the time to his friends.

  3. I think that he just thinks he's in love with her but it's probably just because she's pretty/beautiful

  4. I think it is infatuation. Infatuation is just foolish love and real love lasts forever

    1. True. I also agree that it's infatuation because Romeo was over Rosaline too quick to be in love with her

  5. I think Romeo is in love with Rosaline . He talks to his friends about her a lot but he isn't willing to give up own her so easy even when he knows she doesn't love him back.

    1. I don't think it's love....I mean he just throws her to the side when he meets Juliet.

  6. I think he loves her but not deeply. If he didn't love her at least a little bit then he wouldn't ramble on about her to benvolio

  7. I don't think he "loves" her because he got over he so fast. He might of liked her a lot because of her beauty, but didn't love her.

  8. Romeo sound like he's in with Rosaline because so far in the story he tells people about this beautiful woman.

  9. I think he was just confused at the moment and jus didn't know what he really wanted

  10. I think it's infatuation because he moved on way to quickly for it to be true love. He does love her but it's not true love.

    1. That's a good answer, and probably right. He did mainly talk of how beautiful she was.

  14. I think he is in "love" with Rosaline just because of how beautiful she is but not true feelings

  16. I think he's in LUST with her. She's pretty and playing hard-to-get. He doesn't love her or he wouldn't have just forgotten about her.

  17. I don't think he really loved Rosaline she was just showing him affection so he thought he did but then Juliet was showing him affection so he started loving her.

  19. I think he was in lust with her because he got over her to quickly

  20. I think he might of truly been in love with Rosaline at first, seeing how he acts, but it's also like infatuation since he moved on so quickly.

  21. I think that it is a very very very deep crush!!!! Because if you break up with someone that easily and then you move on that fast when you see another girl something's not right.

  22. I think he is just infatuated with her beauty because once he finds Juliet he falls straight into love with her also. Love is when you actually like a person for everything about them, and infatuation is when you just love how they look.

  23. I think that the only reason that he "loved" her was because of her looks.

  25. It is infatuation. Infatuation is lust true love is were you care and respect the other person In the relationship.

  26. I would call it infatuation, because love (should be) long term, no matter the sir stance. And infatuation is more of a temporary physical wanting more than long term marriage.

  27. I would say it was infatuation, because Romeo got over Rosaline the moment he saw Juliet, and after that Romeo probably never thought about Rosaline again.

  28. I think it was infatuation because he only love her for her looks and never really talked to her.

  29. Infatuation is were you like someone a lot
Love is we're you care about some one and you are afraid of loosing them because you know that they may never come back if you let them go.

  30. He was in love with her but then he found Juliet so it is infatuation

  31. Romoe is in love for one night with Rosaline

  32. Romeo might have loved her at once, but not after he laid eyes on Juliet. When it's true love it takes longer than one minute to get over.So I am going to go with infatuation.

  33. He. Thinks he's in love with her till he met Juliet

    ReplyDelete
  34. True love is forever but infatuation is temporary so obviously it was infatuation because he moved on to Juliet so quick.

  35. He was in love with Rosaline in act 1 because that's when benvolio was trying to make him find another girl. There is no difference because infatuation still means a love or passion.

  36. I don't think he was because if he was inlove with her then he wouldn't have just thrown her away when he layed eyes on Juliet that night at Capulets party.
