What qualities do you look for in a friend? Which of these qualities did Benvolio and Mercuito share? Which of the two would you prefer to have as a friend?
I look for that person to be honest and trustworthy they also have to be fun and cool to hang around. I really don't look for a lot in a friend I just need someone who will be trustworthy and just be straight with me. By JaQiria Stiger

A good qualities in good friends are that they be real with you and honest.Also be loyal and respectful . Be there for you when you are up and down . They always look out for you , listen to what you have to say , and be trustworthy.
The qualities I look for a friend are someone I can trust 100% and want turn thier back on me. Also in a friend I look for someone that will not judge me on my mistakes but be there to pick me up when I need them the most, a friend that i can talk to with out expressing my business to everyone and will not be afraid to tell me the truth or their honest opinion about something.. # Thats the qualities I look for in a friend:)
Someone who is honest to you. They won't start drama with you. They are always there for you..someone to just be yourself around and not get judged by.
I agree with Baker. Somebody that will stand up for you but is not afraid to stand up to you either. Someone you can be honest with and that is honest to you.
I think a good friend would be one to make you laugh and make it easy to get through the rough Mondays at school and always be there to back you up when you need them to.
I look for a nice person that is there for me when I have something on my mind. Someone that doesn't go own and own about their own problems. I would rather be friends with Benvolio.
If your fun to be around, if I can totally trust you, and can count on you to have my back like I'd have yours, then your a good friend. Benvolio and Mercuito both knew that they had each other's back. I think I'd like to have Benvolio as a friend.
I look for a friend that has the same interests as me,I can count on them, I know they got my back ,and I got their's with anything. I would want Benvolio because he is the one who got Romeo to go to the mask party to meet more girls so he wouldn't like Rosaline anymore and he met Juliet and fell in love with her that night
I would like to have a friend that understands me and is funny and can be serious at times and that is just fun to hang around. I think that Mercuito and Benvolio share the quality of loyalty and both can be ready to fight, and they both just seem to fit together. I would rather have Mercuito as a friend because he is humorous and fun.
The qualities I look for in friends is that they know how to have fun,but can be serious at times. I also look for honesty,and trustworthiness. Benvolio,and Mercuito both know how to have fun,and be trustworthy. Although, I think Mercuito cannot be all too much serious at times and honest,but Benvolio can. I would rather choose Benvolio as a friend.
I like qualities such as maturity, though also fun to be around and funny. I think Mercutio is funny, but not as mature as Benvolio. So I would probably prefer Benvolio, because he seems mature and fun to be around.
I look for someone who's there for me and has my back yes we might get in some fights but we'll be friends again I look for some who keep me happy and I can keep them happy and if we move away we can still be friends that's what I look for

What I always look for in a friend is that they will not judge me by my past but will help me with my future they willow let me down and that they are honest with me and I can be myself around them and someone I feel comfortable being around and that they will talk about me behind my back and that will be respectful to my family and is respectful to their family as well and will NOT get me in trouble. I have four best friends I known them since 1st grade and no matter what we are always there from each other I love them like they are family to me. What I also look in a friend is that they have the same taste in the same thing as me.
