If Romeo and Juliet were modern teenagers, they would be unlikely to turn to a monk and a nurse for advice/help. Who would their modern mentors be and why?

  1. They would probably have people like their parents or friends, counselers,or advisers. They would probably go to their friends first though.

    2. I agree with you Luke but I would rather go to a trusted adult who has went through the problems I have and talk to someone older than my peers.

  2. Their parents because their parents want to be 100% apart of their child's life and parents don't fight like the montages and the capulets did in Romeo and Juliet's time.

  4. Their parents/family..no one is there for you like your family. They know you the best so therefor they would know they best for Romeo and Juliet

  5. I think telling an adult you trust and/or friends would be the best choice..I wouldn't tell my parent though..don't want another fight...that's just my opinion, for some other people it'd probably be a good idea.

  6. It depends if they still had the conflict between the family's in modern times. If not- it'd probably be two family members but if the problem still existed then it'd probably be two real close friends

  17. The parents/family should know what is the best for Romeo and Juliet because they are teenagers they should always ask their parents to make sure that they are headed towards the right direction.

  23. I think they would go to their friends or a sibling because most teenagers wouldn't go to their parents if they do something wrong they most likely try to fixed the problem before going to their parents.

  26. Romeo and Juliet would most likely rely on the people thatThey trust and have faith in the most. Such as their closest friend or relative. Today most teenagers don't ask there parents for help or advise with there problems.
