Describe exactly what gives you troubles in reading Shakespeare. How do you cope with it?

  1. the main thing that gives me trouble in reading Shakespeare is the writing language that he uses in writing. It is alot easier for me to use if i read the sides of the page because it explains what everthing means.

  4. I don't like reading the way he talks because it is like reading out of the Bible sometimes. I cope with it by just reading the things on the side.

  9. I don't always understand what some words mean the way he puts it,but it makes much more sense when you read the sides.

  11. I don't like reading it because the way the words are, are hard to read.Its like read the King James Version of the Bible. I cope with it by using the note on the side.

  16. The thing that gives me trouble in reading Shakespeare is that it is very weird how they used to talk, so it is hard to understand what they are saying, so I have to look up what they're saying to know what it means in how we speak today.

  19. At first it was how it was wrote, because we aren't used to that language. But by reading in the side and using a translation website, I can read it easier.

  32. My problem reading Romeo and Juliet was the words in the story. If they would have used our language now it wouldn't have been hard to read. The way I coped with this problem was I looked to the side of the page to find out what the hard words meant.

  34. The problem I have is that the words are rich, proper, and full of story.The common vocabulary we use today isn't like that.So I was not used to it.
